Les Terrasses du Port
Inaugurated in 2014 by Hammerson, Les Terrasses du Port transformed the Joliette district into a flagship destination of Marseille's urban renewal. Designed by architect Michel Pétuaud-Létang, with interior architecture by Saguez & Partners, this emblematic Euroméditerranée project, conceived as an “Apple Center” facing the sea, combines shopping, dining, a rooftop, and panoramic terraces to offer an urban experience open to the horizon and the Mediterranean.

In Marseille, Les Terrasses du Port reinvent the shopping center. Designed as an "Apple Center" facing the sea, this Hammerson-owned venue blurs the lines between shopping, strolling, and contemplation. With its panoramic terraces overlooking the Mediterranean, its open architecture, and an experience that goes beyond retail, you forget you’re in a shopping center.
A must-visit destination offering, seven days a week, dining spaces, a place for strolling and relaxation, a 260-meter-long terrace facing the sea, a quality retail selection, and unique services spread across four floors.
Saguez & Partners designed an interior design inspired by the maritime routes that once transported rare goods to the port of Marseille. Each area is themed around Asia, the Mediterranean, and Africa. Along the central axis of the atrium, spanning two levels, the Mediterranean corridor features white-and-blue harmonies and mosaics. To the left (south side), the Africa corridor, with its warm colors, responds to the Asia corridor (to the north), where bamboo plants rise.
Here, the location makes it exceptional: the interior design enhances the view, the sea becomes a permanent backdrop, and the space invites you to linger.
