Roche Laboratories

The biophilic office

Saguez & Partners worked with the [Roche] group (https://www.roche.fr/) on its project to relocate to the “Angle” building in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. The pharmaceutical group has rethought its spaces, with a new way of working, at the heart of its thinking, thanks to a layout based on uses and a central concept: biophilia.

A biophilic office: a care-place designed for well-being

Biophilia is an architectural approach that promotes well-being by integrating natural elements into workspaces. This founding principle guided the design of the Roche France headquarters, creating an environment conducive to serenity, inspiration and concentration.

Soothing, immersive design: a palette of natural colors, ergonomic materials and furniture designed to promote relaxation and productivity.

A unique sensory experience: on arrival, employees and visitors are immediately immersed in an inspiring universe, marked by the digital work of Turkish-American artist Refik Anadol.

The office to (re)connect

The Roche France head office features flexible and connected workspaces, designed to encourage collaboration and productivity:

A top floor dedicated to collaborative working, with spaces that can be reconfigured to suit teams’ needs.

High-performance technological equipment, enabling smooth interaction between employees, whether on-site or telecommuting.

A human-centered layout, to support the transition to new, more flexible and hybrid work modes.
