A unifying identity

Saguez & Partners has designed a unique visual identity to tell the story of the Petite Ceinture, the former Parisian railroad reinvented as a space for strolling and discovery. The project follows a call for tenders from the City of Paris and the SNCF, aimed at revitalizing this emblematic space.

A logo inspired by railway history

The logo is based on the double railroad track, the emblematic symbol of the Petite Ceinture, which runs through eight arrondissements. This visual identity evokes the railway’s past, while embodying the site’s current reconversion. The design is integrated into the overall signage, providing a coherent and engaging visual identity.

Pictograms and a graphic code to inspire

To support this transformation, Saguez & Partners developed a series of pictograms evoking the diversity of initiatives. A bright green was chosen to symbolize nature in motion, bringing a touch of vitality to the spaces and reinforcing the connection with urban vegetation.

A guide to discovering Paris differently

In addition to the logo, we created an illustrated guide that invites visitors to discover Paris in a different way. This booklet highlights the routes, anecdotes and initiatives that make the Petite Ceinture a place of life and inspiration in the heart of the capital. The guide is both informative and immersive, enabling Parisians and visitors alike to reconnect with the history and spirit of this emblematic railway line.
