Kimpton

Melody in the basement

Saguez & Dash drew inspiration from the Art Nouveau façade of this remarkable building once home to the historic Samaritaine de Luxe just steps from the Opéra Garnier, Faubourg Saint-Honoré, and the Jardin des Tuileries, to design three basement-level spaces. Curved, organic forms, natural solid stone and wood, brasswork, iridescent tones, velvety materials, and intricate mosaic patterns serve as a guiding thread, accompanying guests throughout their journey in the hotel, where all 149 rooms were decorated by Charles Zana.

Natural light, acoustic comfort, and a tribute to French Design

The Ball Room, a 570 sqm space spread across three levels, is entirely dedicated to hosting receptions. Its bright, welcoming lobby and cloakroom entrance features an acoustic envelope, creating a calm contrast to the bustle and noise of the street outside. Guests descend the sculpted Carrara marble staircase to reach a 180 sqm mezzanine, a transitional space offering a balcony view of the impressive event hall below. Spanning 300 sqm, it features an XXL LED screen and a stage, ideal for standout events.

Also located in the basement, the 220 sqm **Business Center **is a private space designed for focus and business meetings. Each meeting room is unique, paying tribute in turn to Robert Mallet-Stevens, Coco Chanel, Le Corbusier, Eileen Gray, and Pierre Chareau. For added comfort, every room features an acoustic and luminous ceiling that, like a glass canopy, gently diffuses the full spectrum of natural light.

S&D drew inspiration from the 1917 Art Nouveau façade, a legacy of the former Samaritaine de Luxe.

Guaranteed relaxation

The Codage Spa spanning 340 sqm, brings together the hotel’s full range of body care treatments. At the entrance, large curved shelves lined with nude-toned Alcantara showcase the brand’s products. In the massage rooms, openwork wooden ceilings filter in soft, ambient lighting. The highlight of the experience: a mosaic-tiled infinity pool and hammam, topped with ceiling-mounted acoustic mirror-film lenses that absorb the gentle sound of rippling water.
