Forvis Mazars

From a tower in La Défense to an urban campus

After more than 30 years in a high-rise tower in La Défense, Forvis Mazars is reinventing its offices in France and across the Group. Here, the office is no longer a gloomy place where everyone stays in their own bubble: it’s a campus that encourages movement, interaction, connection, and the spark of ideas. Gardens, terraces, and flexible spaces extend the indoors to the outdoors, while colors and materials define zones and guide circulation. A space designed to attract talent, foster cross-functional collaboration, and make people truly want to come to the office.

The place creates bonds

The Carré Vert campus is designed as a human-scale space. Four buildings are connected around a central garden. Open spaces and smooth pathways encourage meetings and informal exchanges. Inside and outside are in dialogue. Here, interior architecture becomes about relationships: walking, moving around, crossing paths, talking. Everything is designed to build community and bring new energy to work.

"The Carré Vert campus represents a new way of approaching our professions. It also reflects Forvis Mazars’ human commitment, offering our teams a real employee experience based on collaboration and personal fulfillment." Olivier Lenel, CEO of Forvis Mazars France

Before: how to transform this empty space into a lively, collaborative, and inspiring place?

Move to keep ideas flowing

At Saguez & Partners, we believe the office is no longer a place to sit for eight hours behind a screen. The office should be a place that creates connections.

At the Carré Vert Campus, we have:

  1. Added color to the spaces to extend the central garden indoors and out, guide circulation, and bring energy to each area.
  2. Offered a variety of spaces and postures: open spaces, alcoves, agora, terraces… because every activity deserves its own space.
  3. Encouraged movement and interaction by designing fluid spaces where people can meet, talk, and share.
  4. Created flexible spaces designed to evolve: an office should never be fixed—it should transform according to time and needs.

The colour effect from floor to walls: softness, tranquillity and vitality.

The color effect: softness, quiet, and comfort

Blocks of color on the floors and walls help structure the workspaces and guide movement. For example, carpet tile patterns with rounded edges bring softness and fluidity. Plant-inspired tones, combined with calming shades and subtle contrasts, bring nature indoors and create an atmosphere that is both serene and inspiring. Each space invites employees to pause, collaborate, or focus, offering a friendly and stimulating work experience.

For example, we designed a ground floor inspired by the hospitality (lobby, concierge, gym, lounge, etc.) that welcomes, reassures, and encourages movement. The restaurant becomes a coworking space in the afternoon. The auditorium transforms into a creative place. A lounge is reinvented as a master room. Even the offices combine collaboration, focus, and hybrid interactions. Here, every space has multiple lives.

The Academy, located in the former biscuit factory, is dedicated to learning and events, with flexible rooms and mobile furniture. Terraces and the rooftop extend work outdoors, offering relaxation and inspiration.

The training Academy is housed in a historic building, a former biscuit factory built in 1890.
