Capital 8 Nature & Hyperconnection
The power of nature in the heart of Paris’ Central Business District
The 62,000 m2 of office space includes 6,000 m2 of landscaped outdoor gardens and terraces, with green space treated as a source of comfort and well being that links indoor and outdoor living spaces. The agency commissioned landscape designer Alexis Tricoire to design the vast central courtyard, which she lit with 500 poetic LED fireflies and furnished with monumental Botanic Twist benches. Inside, nature is introduced with a palette of colors inspired by nearby Parc Monceau: greens in shades of moss, lichen and fern as well as buttercup yellow, chestnut brown, taupe and nuances of flax and sandstone.
Hyperconnection & the Services of a Fine Hotel
At the entrance, a 100m2 “Digital Ice Cube” in curved bronze mirror glass diffuses real time stock, weather, traffic and internal and external news. The concierge desk offers a range of services worthy of a luxury hotel to facilitate both work and private life: dry cleaning, click & collect shopping storage, reservations, repairs, deliveries… There are 7 different in-house dining options. Numerous working and relaxation areas—a conference center, coworking space, lounge, beauty room and wellness center—allow building occupants to switch activities throughout the day.
Capital 8, in a building shaped like an 8, in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, close to the 8 hectares of calm, green Parc Monceau.
