The Interior Design Best of Year Awards winners were announced December 6. The event, hosted by Interior Design magazine, took place in New York: a triple win for the agency.
Interior Design magazine’s 14th annual Best of Year Awards—which honor top design projects and products around the world—included 2,638 entries in 137 categories. Saguez & Partners won in the category of “Outdoor” with the Icade Parc d’Affaires. And since all good things come in pairs, the agency also received the “Honoree” label for the Lab 114 by Orange & Wellio and the Forum des Halles.

Winner, Best of Year Award 2019 – Category “Outdoor”
The first business park in southern Paris, Icade Parc Paris-Orly-Rungis was built in the 1960s on agricultural land to accommodate all types of businesses, even resembling an industrialized giant car park. In 2018, the end of the car kingdom came. The Icade property company has entrusted Saguez & Partners with the transformation of its historic park to upgrade the site where 220 companies are located. For the 16,000 employees working on the park and the 5,000 inhabitants of Rungis, the agency created a plan based on three main squares, and an environmental design including daily services, places of connection and relaxation.
