A strong symbol of the transformation of Air Liquide
To support its transformation strategy, the group unveiled the 5th logotype in its 155-year history. Alpha, the powerful, organic new symbol, incarnates both the roots and evolution of Air Liquide. Depicting a water bubble in an air bubble, the symbol is associated with the fundamentals of the brand—its name, its colors, its construction.
The sign of an open, close and responsible brand
40% of Air Liquide’s sales relate to solutions for protecting life and the environment. The responsible commitment and the proximity of the group to its stakeholders are expressed by roundness and lowercase typography; its openness toward the the world by the suppression of the frame. The company’s scientific culture and capacity for technological innovation are reflected in the alignment of the letters and the precision of the sign, which evokes a thumbs up hand gesture confirming that everything is OK!
