What are the graphic trends for 2025?
La Réclame, France’s leading media dedicated to creativity, contacted us to ask what the trends in graphic design will be in 2025. Spoiler alert: we hate this question, but we love answering it to share our convictions.
To be as authentic as possible, shouldn’t we first and foremost resist the siren calls of trends and the standardization they impose and/or induce? For Saguez & Partners, the answer is obvious: “You can’t build a lasting, unique brand on the trend of the moment. After all, ‘to brand’ implies leaving a lasting impression.”
According to Liliane Richard, Director of Brand Strategies and Territories, and Martin Lyonnet, Creative Director, at Saguez & Partners, the graphic trend of 2025 will not be a stylistic trend in the classical sense of the term. Their conviction is based on their opposition to stylistic standardization. Instead, they advocate a return to sensibility, a response to societal expectations and the emotional needs of consumers.
Far from ephemeral fashions, at Saguez & Partners, graphic identities must reflect the singularity of brands. The design will be made to last and adapt to multiple media, while integrating useful aesthetic elements that meet societal and usage expectations.
_ “Where can a brand make its mark? Everywhere! In graphic design for branding, we have two weapons with which to set the brand apart. The logo and strong graphic codes that must live on in different media and channels. Graphic design must adapt to them, not to the style trend of the moment”_, say Liliane Richard and Martin Lyonnet.
“Every place becomes an arena for expression: offices, stores, airports, senior residences, hotels, stations, etc. Graphic design sets the scene and brings it to life. A floor, a wall, a ceiling, a screen, a palisade... everything can be brand media and brand identity.”
