For the Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas, the team created a project that is deeply connected to its surroundings. The hotel celebrates Arizona’s identity and the beauty of the Sonoran Desert, offering guests an authentic experience rooted in the local environment.

One of the main challenges was to reflect the spirit of the place without relying on stereotypes. Inspired by the region’s landscapes, local craftsmanship, and Hispanic and Native American heritage, the Saguez & Dash team developed a contemporary design approach using natural materials, textures, light, and colors inspired by the Sonoran Desert.

This approach reflects the philosophy of Saguez & Dash: creating places that tell a story, inspired by the culture, heritage, and identity of their location.

Architecture, landscape, art, and interior design come together to create unique and meaningful experiences.

For Kimpton Miralina, this vision was brought to life through a holistic design approach combining branding and interior architecture. From defining the brand story to designing the guest experience and spaces, the project was completed in just 18 months.
